Seabright Community Garden
On Saturday, April 6th, we launched the Seabright Community Garden. Six volunteers began working up a 65 ft x 55 ft space for planting, which is donated for the community effort by a local resident. This could very well be the first community garden in St Margarets Bay!
We spent several hours working up a large section of the available garden space, which is now ready for planting. The initial plan is to plant a large amount of several crops which will be shared by the group at harvest time. Smaller individual plots will also be possible. Seeds and other supplies will be cost shared.
If you are interested in joining the garden, please contact us at info@transitionbay.ca. We are still looking for additional participants.
