Up!Skilling Expo

Develop your self-sufficiency skills at Bridgewater’s first Up!Skilling Expo! Have you always wanted to start keeping chickens in your back yard for eggs, or fermenting your own kombucha? Join us for a day of demonstrations of a wide variety of skills like this! Attend five 1 hour workshops throughout the day to learn skills like bee keeping, bicycle maintenance, back yard chicken keeping, fermentation, tool sharpening and more! This exciting new event is inspired and supported by Transition Bay St Margarets. The event is being hosted by Art Happening Bridgewater and the Bridgewater Development Association. The Up!Skilling Expo is by donation and is open to all ages! You may pack a brown bag lunch or purchase lunch from 27 West Cafe in the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre.
