Some of the topics that will be covered are:

o Introduction to off-grid

o Types of off-grid systems

o Off-grid for new construction

o Off-grid as a retrofit for existing houses

o Components of off-grid systems

o Energy use reduction techniques

o Trade-off choices

o Cost of some sample off-grid packages

o Discussion of off-grid living

o Ample time for questions

The primary presenter at this workshop will be Cam Farnell, who has been living happily off-grid for over six years and has no plans to go back.

This event is free, but does require registration. Tickets will be available at Eventbrite on March 1st, and we recommend that you sign up on Eventbrite to be reminded when tickets are released. This workshop tends to fill up quickly!
